I am officially adding being really, really, weird to the list of delete/ban/disemvowell-able offenses. That is all.

Awww but I like being weird….. rides around your ceiling on a roomba O.O

  • WMDKitty

Can you define “really, really weird” for me, or is this one of those things where I have to test the boundaries myself?

  • WMDKitty

Nevermind, even I’m not that weird.

    • Chris Hallquist

Yeah. Stated less flippantly, the real offense is acting in a manner that suggests sever issues with understanding appropriate behavior towards other people, beyond both garden variety “nerd social retardation” and garden variety “people being assholes on the internet.”

You could say “don’t be a dick”, but then you might be called accommodationist. Good luck with dealing with the blog public – you will need it.

        • Chris Hallquist

Actually, I thought the DBAD speech was kinda dumb. Ordinary dickishness will be tolerated and occasionally practiced here.

I’d classify as being wierd Posting anonymously with the username of someone else with “check” at the end of it.

    • Chris Hallquist

That was a little weird. But nowhere near as weird as the guy described in Stephanie’s post.

FYI, he also showed up in one of Jason’s threads to tell Jason to read a bunch of links, and then got nasty when Jason didn’t drop everything he was doing to read them. Like I said, way beyond garden-variety problems understanding appropriate social behavior.

Fair enough, Karl. I hadn’t seen the state police release, just the HPD one. And now I see that TM quoted the state police release above. 0 likes
