I have officially stopped cleaning out my spam filter

When I started this blog, I initially tried to check the comment spam filter semi-regularly to see if legitimate comments were getting blocked. A few were, and I hit “not spam” on them. But as I type this, I now have 1,029 comments in the spam filter, and there’s no way I’m going to find time to clean them out. So if one of your comments gets incorrectly marked as spam, don’t be shy about leaving a second comment to tell me, and I’ll use the search feature to find the comment and de-spamify it.

In related news, it has been reported that 31% of the internet now consists of “malicious non-human entities.” Like the author at the link, I have no trouble believing this. Though it’s a good illustration of a quote from xkcd: “At some point there, we left the present and entered the future.”
