Hmm. The rest of that speech – or as much as I could stand, at least – isn’t quite so nice.

“We need religion because we are alone! Liberals need to have more religious appeals in their speeches! Never say religion is a problem!”

    And so on.

This is the same president that always talks about praying like it works or something you should do. This is the same president who after ever speech says “May god bless you and may god bless the United States of America” This discrimination against people who live their live without the baggage of religion has got to stop !

Look man, I’m an atheist and I hate that people are religious, but that isn’t discrimination against us. A person saying they like meat isn’t discriminating against vegans, this is no different. Now, if he starts writing policy based on his faith, and it reduces my right to atheism, THAT’S discriminatory.

Don’t make us look like the theists, with their constant bitching about being the victims of everyone they disagree with.

In addition to the previous comments, this is probably the best we’re gonna get. I’m still shocked that Obama would have the balls to suggest, especially during election season, that the bible doesn’t have all the answers.

Prepare for more secret muslim or atheist accusations

Note that this was in 2006, not during this election or the last presidential election. And two years after he won his Senate seat. Probably couldn’t have picked a safer time to say it.
