Appearing on Unbelievable

Last night (or very early this morning, depending on how you look at it), I recorded an interview for the British Christian radio show Unbelievable. The host was Justin Brierly, and I was debating Calum Miller on the topic of Jesus’ resurrection. The show will air Saturday at 2:30 UK time. For people in the States, the podcast version should be up Saturday morning.

I’m happy to say that the interview contained no real surprises, no apologetic arguments I hadn’t heard before or didn’t have a ready response for. Unfortunately, I stumbled around a bit with the exact phrasing of my answers, “um”ing and “ah”ing a lot. Maybe Justin will be nice enough to edit some of the ums out, we’ll see what the final product looks like.

The other thing to maybe regret is that, when I went to link to the Unbelievable website just now, I realized John Loftus and Randal Rauser were on Unbelievable recently, talking about John’s Outsider Test for Faith. Had I known that, I might have referenced it in the debate. Oh well.

Congrats. I look forward to hearing it. “Unbelievable” is a great show.

      Thanks, Randal.

Chris, I thought you sounded great. I was intrigued by your reference to the Kalam Cosmo (Cramer?) Argument. Can you point me to your blog post on that? Thanks!

I think you may have been thinking of Calum’s post on Kalam, which is here:

If you poke around you’ll find lots of things I’ve written about Kalam, including in my review of Craig’s book for Internet Infidels, but it didn’t come up on the show.
