A federal district judge issued a 44-page decision granting an injunction in favor of two churches against Governor Jared Polis’ executive orders that place numerical restrictions on houses of worship and required attendees to wear masks. The Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals issued a ruling on one lawsuit filed by the Maryville Baptist Church against Democratic Governor Andy Beshear, stating that injunction on his worship ban issued by a lower court stands. On March 19, Gov. Beshear prohibited “[a]ll mass gatherings,” including “faith-based” gatherings, in the Commonwealth.
