Muslims in Middle East Becoming Christians, Churches Expect Millions of Converts January 25, 2018

The Voice Of the Martyrs (Canada division, VOMC) told BosNewsLife that thousands of Muslims are becoming Christians in the Middle East– through the reach of radio broadcasts.

VOMC reports that “the church” is growing despite intense persecution in Syria, Iraq, Jordan and other areas of the Middle East. Thousands of Muslims are returning to the faith of their homeland’s ancestors in Jesus Christ, maintaining that they understand Christianity is the “religion of freedom.” Amidst ongoing persecution throughout the region, a spiritual hunger exists, and new Christians are pleading for Bibles in their own language.

VOMC stated:

There are thousands upon thousands coming to Christ. We are in regular contact with our FM stations in Iraq and have talked with many people who have family in the Middle East.

Some of our Middle Eastern broadcasters have shared testimonies [about many turning to Christ] with us, which they hear directly from listeners when visiting there…

VOMC emphasized that despite Islamic terrorism and ongoing war, “God has been very faithful,” and there are “strong Christian believers remaining” in the Middle East.”

The focus is on the Lord, to whom VOMC credits “the tremendous growth [that] is taking place in the lives of new believers who were Muslims.” It reiterates that God is to “be praised and worshipped with great honour, He is worthy.”
