“Hellbound?” won an award!

From the Raven Foundation, “for excellence in arts and entertainment.” From their web site:

The Raven Award for Excellence in Arts and Entertainment is given to an artist whose work challenges the myth of redemptive and sacred violence. Kevin Miller’s documentary creatively demystifies sacred violence by challenging Christian theologies that maintain God punishes human beings with eternal torment.

A reception, screening and post-screening discussion will take place on Tues., Nov. 12 from 7-10pm at the Stage 773 Cabaret Theater in Chicago. More details here.

I’ll be there along with my wife (one of the rare occasions when she gets to travel with me). Best of all, the event is free and open to the public. So bring your friends!
