Women, Wisdom, and the Word was the name I gave the first workshop I offered after I completed my graduate degree in 1998. Twenty women spent 30 minutes exploring the story of a woman from the Bible, 45 minutes silently reflecting on that story as they worked with their hands in some creative endeavor, and then another 45 minutes telling our stories to the collective group. That three fold rhythm came out of a collection of the practices I have found to be most nourishing to my own soul.

My hope for this blog, this small space in life, is that we will together find something of that same gentle rhythm of Bible stories, reflective and creative expression in life, and conversation. I hope you will join us because it just won’t be the same without your voice and your presence in the mix.
