How to Make Sense of Pope Francis News, This Saturday on Outside the Walls

How to Make Sense of Pope Francis News, This Saturday on Outside the Walls July 2, 2015

Yesterday I had more fun than a person should be allowed to have before 10AM, recording my contribution to the July 4th segment of Outside the Walls with Timothy Putnam.  The topic was my blog post on Weird Things Pope Francis Says.  What you get if you tune in Saturday morning:

  • Tim & I talking about communication styles, and how that affects our reading of the Bible, the Pope, and Everything.  (Evangelization is a nice slice of the Everything.)
  • The scoop on how you can get reliable Pope news, and the One Big Mistake people make when trying to find out what the Pope has said.
  • A chance to win a copy of my book!  There’s a trivia question you have to answer, but it’s one you can look up on the internet, no problem.
  • The answer to the one big question: Will Tim have edited our conversation so you don’t hear me floundering for words after I accidentally say what I did not mean to say?  Or will we get to re-live the whole stumble-limp-recover interview experience?

It’ll be great.  You can listen live or catch the podcast, details here.  You can follow Outside the Walls on Twitter via @outsidethewalls and Timothy’s personal feed, @timothyputnam.
