No, but that doesn’t make it right.

Sad to think how many of these former players either have early stage dementia (Otis Wilson, Jim McMahon to name a couple) or are deceased (Walter Payton and Dave Duerson).

That was my first thought, too, Gloria. But what a team that was! The only question every week that season was by how much were they going to win. Aside from the misstep vs. Miami, they blew through everyone like it was unfair. Hard to think of a more dominant team having such a dominant season.

I saw this in my Google reader feed and I knew what it was before I clicked on the post. 😉

Great team, great song/performance, many fine men, Singeltary and Frazier to name just two.

I can still remember, “My name is Steve and it’s no wonder, I run like lightning and pass like thunder.”

I too was certain that I knew who/what it was before clicking through. What a team and what a fun memory of a season . . . and I wasn’t even from Chicago, just a teenage sports fan at the time.

I’m like Michael, #4. I couldn’t see the picture in my feed reader but knew what was coming. Classic.

Just one more reminder that “White Men Can’t Dance.” Well, except for Gary Fencik. Maybe the saying should be revised to “White Men Not from Barrington Can’t Dance.”

As a Brit and a Liverpool FC fan, I have to give mention to the Anfield Rap ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kcy3gwwxat4 ) from 1988.
