    4 sports (despite their media/ TV popularity) is not much of a sample….

    Golf? Tennis? Motor racing? Swimming? Football (proper football)? X-Sports?

  • I’m surprised to see that whites comprise 60% of baseball players. That has to include minor leagues. My favorite team, the Detroit Tigers, has a majority of Hispanic players on the major league roster, who roughly outnumber white players 2:1, and African-Americans 5:1.

    I would like to see a geographical chart of where the players grew up. I find the local/regional culture’s impact on various sports very interesting.
