Nine Things I Think is an irregular feature whenever I have a list of things I want to talk about that aren’t long enough for their own individual posts. There’s no theme, just nine things I want to bring to your attention. Feel free to expand on any of these topics in the comments section.1) Pagan Pride Days will be starting soon – the day-long mini-festivals designed to promote cooperation between the various forms of modern Paganism and to tell the general public we’re here. Live, Local, and Low Cost

Melting POT 2014 01

At a time when various groups of Pagans can’t seem to get along on-line, a collection of 89 folks representing 25 groups and multiple traditions came together in a Houston area park to share conversation, food and good will.Whether the Gods or Nature smiled on us or if we just got lucky, the weather was beautiful.  It was sunny with temperatures in the mid 50s – one day after Houston made news shutting down because of snow and ice, and three days before wintry weather is in the forecast agai … [Read more...]

Introduction to Modern Paganism 2010

I have several short announcements to make, so I'm combining them into one post.Introduction to Modern Pagan Religion.Next Saturday, July 20, I’ll be co-leading Denton CUUPS’ Introduction to Modern Pagan Religion class. We run this class about once a year – it’s designed for those who’ve done some beginning work in Wicca, Druidry, or another Pagan tradition and who are looking for some live teaching to compliment their solitary work, as well as for those who are curious about Paganism and … [Read more...]
