Tullian Tchividjian and Coral Ridge Presbyterian

Tullian Tchividjian: Quick! Say it three times! Or once, even!

If any of you happen to know about the kerfuffle going on at Tullian Tchividjian’s mega-church Coral Ridge, and happen to care to read my little commentary on it over at Boar’s Head Tavern, you can do so here.

Ahh … the American Christian Church. It’s nothing if not busy.

More and more I'm communicating with my readers through my free (and ad-free) email newsletter, which is just a simple, direct and personal email from me that I send out every three weeks or so. If you would like to receive this email in your inbox, subscribe to it on my website, or by using the subscription box about halfway down the column on the right. I wouldn't think of using your email address for anything but my e-newsletter (to which you can always unsubscribe with the click of a button). Thanks, and looking forward to communicating with you in this more intimate way.

I think it's fairly obvious that the issue over political engagement or the issue of wearing clerical robes aren't the real issues at all.

I think he just shook some of them out of their complacency and they weren't gonna have any of that.

Paul: I don't know if I'd put it quite that lightly, but you can scroll back a bit at Boar's Head to see the fuller discussion. Thanks, broham.

What a train wreck… I think you're right though, John… it seems predictable. its not clear what they were thinking (when hiring TT). Hire a strong leader who is quite different from your former strong leader…

C.R. is down to 1 service now because the attendance is so low.

The church is dying and there are very few wealth families keeping it going!

    Boring indeed !
