Me on CBS Radio Minnesota last night

a-phone-interview__1327359225_3125Last night I was on The Jordana Green Show on CBS Radio Minnesota, talking about The NALT Christians Project. You can listen to the show here. (And no, I haven’t changed my name to John Share.) I’m on at about 23:20.

  • “Choosing the least compassionate interpretation of the ‘clobber passages’ is unfair, unbiblical, and unChristian.”

    This! Yes!

    So brilliant. She is, too.

  • Nicely done, John. Here’s hoping your voice can be more widely heard.

Love this. It’s funny, your voice is not what I expected at all, and it surprises me every time I hear you speak. But then again, you would probably be very surprised by what my voice sounds like too. Here’s hoping plenty more people want to hear the message you’re spreading.

  • Whenever I hear my recorded voice it’s not what I expected, either.

Thank you again, Matt, for all your love and support here.

  • Thank you, Jon L.

You sounded like I expected, somehow!

I feel like sometime I should call Jordana (CBS Radio Minnesota threw me off–for us Minnesotans, it’s good old WCCO radio) and suggest that she stop using that annoying phrase, “the gay lifestyle”.

  • Oh, duh: I should have put WCCO. (And, yeah, you’re right: when she said that, I was going to say, “Gay lifestyle? Um. 1992 called. It wants its phraseology back.” But then I remembered I was a grown man. But still!)
