10 Minutes of Meditation Per Day Can Change Your Life May 25, 2017

I know that meditation might not be for everyone, but let me tell you why you might want to consider it moving forward.

When concentrating on the breath, the past subsides, the future remains distant, and it allows the present to bring its natural peace.

When focusing on our awareness in this world, we realize how significant and yet insignificant we are.  We become one with our insides and, I believe, this awareness lightens our load just a bit.

Sitting in silence, let’s face it, can be good for all of us.  We all talk too much in our everyday lives.  Being with this silence, allows us time to either let our minds wander or focus our thoughts on the beauty that is, life or the beauty, that is, visualization.

Stillness is the most challenging for all of us.  Sitting in that stillness can be truly relaxing and awe-inspiring if we let it.

When breathing, awareness, stillness, and peace combine, their affects can be transformative.  Watch how you naturally start to feel appreciation and gratitude for the earth, our lives, our friends, and our family around us.

Gratitude and appreciation beget further understanding of the human condition, which then awakens forgiveness.   Forgiveness is one of my favorites and most powerful tools in our arsenal of ideation and creation.

So, you see, 10 minutes a day of meditation could be just what the doctor ordered.  Trust me, it will only have positive affects on you!

Lastly, I want to mention that running, yoga, or even lifting weights can be your form of meditation.  Choose something that works for you!  Everyone can benefit from the advantages of meditation.
