Five Ways to Be a Better Listener

Five Ways to Be a Better Listener July 20, 2017

If it’s one thing I have learned how to do over the years, it’s listening.  Granted, as a psychic/medium, I listen in all sorts of internal and external ways, but it’s all the same the end of the day.  I just thought I would give you my thoughts on how to be the best listener ever.

  • Do your best to clear your mind when listening to someone else.
  • Create a space where the individual feels like the most important person in the world.
  • Stay interested and ask questions out of curiosity.
  • Whatever you do, do NOT multi-task while actively listening to someone else.
  • Listen with your heart.

Do those sound easy?  Maybe, maybe not?   Put the devices away, be it an iphone, an ipad, or your laptop.  Whatever it is, put it down.  Show them respect.  Pay careful attention to the person across from you.  Make them feel special.  Make them feel important.

We all want to share what’s going on in our lives with friends, families, or our significant others.  It takes such little effort to make someone feel special, important, and significant.  Putting in that little extra effort will definitely be worth it, not just for them, but also for you.

The above ways to be a better listener might appear simple at first glance, but it takes a great deal of action to be a good listener.  I have complete faith in you! x
