Pope Francis Will Sign a Treaty with the Palestinian State

YES! Pope Francis, on behalf of the Vatican, is going to sign a treaty with the Palestinian State, that is, the Palestinian Authority, thus verifying the existence of a Palestinina state and further endorsing it.Wake up United States of America, which is against this! Smell the roses. My country's government has always been on the wrong side of history regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. What do I mean?Although the U.S. has always been Israel's chief ally, which I fully endorse … [Read more...]

Joe Klein Has It Right About Israel

Joe Klein is a Jewish, American, political journalist who has his own column in Time magazine. I like to read him. His column in Time magazine, March 30, 2015, is entitled "Disgrace in Victory." It is about Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu winning the Israel election last week in a disgraceful manner. I blogged about it last week.I didn't mention in the blog post that Netanyahu used a scare tactic by saying Israeli Arabs were voting in droves like never before. The Israeli-Palestinian Peace Process Is Revived

Yesterday, after five years of dormancy of the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians, the U.S. revived it thanks mostly to the shuttle diplomacy of U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry. Two weeks ago in Washington, D.C., Kerry reportedly told Jewish leaders the U.S. would guarantee Israel's security in a two-state peace agreement by stationing U.S. troops in critical areas throughout the region. Bad idea! The borderlines between the proposed two states that they are talking about is a … [Read more...]
