Blackbirds and Haunted Houses

haunted-house[1]

“Blackbirds and Haunted Houses” When my kids were younger I used to enjoy taking them to haunted houses. Nowadays, they’ve outgrown going to haunted houses with mom. I still string a few orange lights around the house and put a couple of pumpkins on the front porch, but it’s not the same. I miss my [...]

Most people die the way they live. Not everybody, but most people. I am a student of famous people’s last words. They say a lot about how that person lived.

A Trinity-Shaped Life

Trinity

“A Trinity-Shaped Life” A Meditation on Trinity Sunday Trinity Sunday, May 30, 2010 I wonder if, on Trinity Sunday, many people feel like the sermon is answering a question they aren’t asking.
