In the new issue of Mojo, you’ll find a disc featuring songs that Bono and the boys think you should hear. And I hate to say “I told ya so” but there’s an Arcade Fire track on there. (Thanks, Opus, for the heads’ up.

I’m seeing it THIS Saturday, so I’m hoping to be a part of the “slow burn” that brings them international acclaim and big bucks…kind of like how Titanic kept bringin’ back for more…only, better, right?

It’s amazing how quickly things spread. That Shining trailer has popped up everywhere over the weekend. I wonder how long it languished before it reached critical mass.

Serenity came in #2 behind Flightplan a movie in it’s second week, which kinda sucks. However, Serenity was playing at over 1000 fewer theaters. The more disappointing thing to me was that per location it did less than Flightplan.
