Dude… I’m Going to Iowa!

Northwestern College of Iowa has extended me a gracious invitation to come and spend a day talking about faith and film with the students. I can’t wait. I’ll be there Monday, November 10.

Anybody here at Northwestern?

There’s a giant grad student community from NW at Geneva. Maybe you should come to Geneva sometime? (I sent you an e-mail about that a month or so ago, in fact.)

Even in Orange City, you’ll be hard-pressed to find tulips in November, except for the artificial variety.

(Yay for the Swirling Eddies reference!)

I’m not from Northwestern (at least that Northwestern), but I grew up in the area. It’s a good place, and I hope you enjoy the Dutch atmosphere, the abundant tulips, and the feel of Orange City. Come back for the Tulip Festival in May!

I knew a guy that went there, too . . . but he’s not there anymore. I’ll have to hold out for a Baylor visit.

Nice. My wife was an RD at Northwestern before we met. She took me to see the campus a while back. She has very fond memories of that place.

D’oh. I forgot that WordPress tried to interpret things within the pointy brackets as HTML markup, so that didn’t work.
