For all Firefly fans suffering from PTSD…

For those fans of Joss Whedon’s Firefly who are still suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder over FOX’s unforgivable cancellation of the series, here’s the show for you.

It’s about a doctor with qualifications to address your miserable condition…

About Jeffrey Overstreet

Jeffrey Overstreet has two passions: writing fiction, and celebrating art — music, cinema, photography, literature — through writing and teaching. He is the author of a “memoir of dangerous moviegoing” — Through a Screen Darkly. And his four-novel fantasy series, The Auralia Thread, which begins with Auralia's Colors, was published by Random House. He speaks at universities and conferences around the world about understanding art through eyes of faith. He is earning his MFA in Creative Writing at Seattle Pacific University, where he has worked for 11 years as an editor, writer, and communications project manager. His work has been recognized in The New Yorker, TIME, The Seattle Times, IMAGE, Ravi Zacharias International — and Christianity Today, where he served as a film journalist for more than a decade. He recently began a weekly column called "Listening Closer" for Christ and Pop Culture.

Thanks to both Jeff and Allie for this. I just joined up with the Seattle Browncoats, so I posted the link on their Message Board–I think they’ll appreciate it like I did!

I’ll paraphrase the NPR meme “Long time reader, first time commenter.” I had to respond, because this little clip is hilarious! (And I am not one to use exclamation marks lightly!) Besides which, I had no idea that Zac Efron was lil’ Simon: so funny and informative. I can just see this title sequence for a mid/late 80s show. Now for the big questions: is Badger the hospital administrator, and is Saffron the sexy nurse or secretary? Thanks for smile, it was needed on this Friday.
