Goodbye and Thank You, Mr. Postlethwaite.

This morning, we say farewell to one of my all-time favorite actors.

If all of my dreams had come true, he’d have played Krawg in a film adaptation of Auralia’s Colors.

I’ll remember and love him most for his unforgettable, Oscar-nominated perforamance as Guiseppe Conlon, the working-class father of Gerry Conlon (Daniel Day-Lewsi) in In The Name of the Father.

About Jeffrey Overstreet

Jeffrey Overstreet has relaunched a bigger, better version of this blog at LookingCloser.org. The new Looking Closer doesn't have any of the trashy click-bait advertisements that you're probably seeing all over this Patheos page. So give yourself a break.
