Do You Understand Why Men Hate Going to Church?

On today’s episode of the Manly Training Podcast, Eduardo speaks about Why Men Hate Going to Church! Warning: LISTEN AT YOUR OWN RISK. Today, most men in America don’t go to church. But why is that? How did a faith founded by a manly man (Jesus) and his 12 male disciples become so popular with women and detested by men? Listen and find out why this has happened and what needs to change!

About Manly Training Ministries

Manly Training Ministries was launched in the summer of 2015 as a community for Pastors, Church Leaders, bloggers, and TV/Radio host rock stars. Today, Manly Training Ministries is a quickly growing collective of go-getters from all around the world who understand the importance of Training Men according to God’s design.

If you believe men are important and that men need to be trained on how to be husbands, fathers and godly men in an ungodly world, then Manly Training is for you! Subscribe to Manly Training to get updates.

Wear the Pants!

“Once upon a time, men wore the pants, and wore them well. Women rarely had to open doors and little old ladies never crossed the street alone. Men took charge because that’s what they did. But somewhere along the way, the world decided it no longer needed men. Disco by disco, latte by foamy non-fat latte, men were stripped of their khakis and left stranded on the road between boyhood and androgyny.

But today, there are questions our genderless society has no answers for. The world sits idly by as cities crumble, children misbehave and those little old ladies remain on one side of the street. For the first time since bad guys, we need heroes. We need grown-ups. We need men to put down the plastic fork, step away from the salad bar and untie the world from the tracks of complacency. It’s time to get your hands dirty and time to answer the call of manhood. It’s time to WEAR THE PANTS.”

I am a man and I like going to Church. It has been the butt of Jokes that men stay home and the wife and kids go to Church. I have heard preachers make light of men staying home to try and and get a chuckle out their congregation but not from me because that categorizes me. So the title of your article “Do You Understand Why Men Hate Going to Church?” does not apply to me, the title implies that ALL men don’t like going to Church where in actuality it’s SOME men don’t like going to Church.

Agreed. There are many of us who love to go to church (including myself). I was not implying that every man hates church, although if you just read the title and not read the article or listen to the podcast, I can see how one can be confused. The point here is that Christianity is the only major religion in the world where more women are involved than men.
