The media has not been kind to President Trump during his first 100 days in office. The honeymoon period new presidents typically experience has not been applied to Trump. In fact, NBC News wrote up a fairly lengthy piece on how he is single handedly tanking the country. So, apparently, to make themselves feel better, NBC decided to talk about how Hillary Clinton has been doing over the last 100 days. And as you might expect, she can do no wrong in their eyes.

Sycophant, that is, columnist Jane C. Timm cried, “She’s back” and went on to pick the “best of” moments of Clinton’s “apolitical appearances and speaking engagements” since the inauguration.

Apolitical appearances?! Ha! Give me a break! I guess Timm sees what she wants to see.

Starting at day one at the inauguration, Timm noted how Clinton wore white “the symbolic color of women’s suffrage.” But do you remember when Melania Trump wore white for her convention speech and was labeled a racist? Talk about hypocrisy.

With each day that Timm details, it’s quite clear that Clinton and politics can’t be separated. On day 21, Timm noted how Clinton slammed Trump on Twitter for trying to keep the country safe:

Clinton embraced Trump’s favorite social media platform on February 9, tweeting “3-0” after three judges unanimously halted Trump’s ban on the entry of residents from certain Muslim-majority nations.

On day 68, Timm says Clinton defended women who confront Trump:

In a speech, Clinton pushed back against “indignities” she said faced veteran White House reporter April Ryan, who was criticized and accused of bias by White House press secretary Sean Spicer, and California Rep. Maxine Walters, who was the subject of what Clinton called a “racist joke” from recently ousted Fox News host Bill O’Reilly.

“Too many women, especially women of color, have had a lifetime of practice taking precisely these kinds of indignities in stride,” she said. “But why should we have to? And any woman who thinks this couldn’t be directed at her is living in a dream world.”

On day 78, Clinton is still talking about her loss and said she’s “pretty worried” about the direction of the country.

But she loves her fabulous new pumps courtesy of Katy Perry on day 81:

By days 83 and 87, Clinton was praising NYC Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s free tuition program and handing over her e-mail list to the Democratic National Committee, “adding 10 million new names to their roster as they prepare for the upcoming midterm elections.”

But, nah, this is all just apolitical stuff.

It’s so hard for NBC to hide its secret desire that Hillary won the presidency, they do a piece on her as if she is. Sad, really.
