In the height of irony, the fascist group, “Antifa” presents itself as fighting fascism. Using the violent techniques developed by fascists to silence opposition, Antifa intends to spread terror, via violence, to all who support free speech in America.
Currently there is an online petition on the White House website, that has already surpassed the 100,000 mark. The petition page describes Antifa like this:
Terrorism is defined as “the use of violence and intimidation in pursuit of political aims”. This definition is the same definition used to declare ISIS and other groups, as terrorist organizations. AntiFa has earned this title due to its violent actions in multiple cities and their influence in the killings of multiple police officers throughout the United States. It is time for the pentagon to be consistent in its actions – and just as they rightfully declared ISIS a terror group, they must declare AntiFa a terror group – on the grounds of principle, integrity, morality, and safety.
I love the petition process that the White House has set up. Here’s how it works. Anyone can create a petition and they they have to try to get as many people as possible to sign it. If the petition gets 100,000 signatures within 30 days, the White House will give the nation an official update within 60 days. This petition has gained a ton of traction already. In fact, in just four days, it exceeded 160,000. As of the time of this writing, it’s almost gotten 300,000 signatures — three times the amount needed to get a Presidential response. Here’s the notice that shows how popular the effort has been, which explains that this petition “needs 0 signatures by September 16, 2017 to get a response from the White House.”
