Report: Clergyman Helped Police Crack Sniper Case

(CNSNews.com) – WUSA-TV (Channel 9 in Washington) reports that one of the suspects arrested Thursday by the sniper task force went to a Virginia clergyman, who in turn contacted police with the suspects’ names. The suspect went to the clergyman because he was repeatedly rebuffed in his efforts to talk to police. Sources told WUSA the suspect was very frustrated after he had been “put off, hung up on, not believed” when he tried to tell Rockville City Police that he was the sniper. Sources say this frustration led him to contact a clergyman in Spotsylvania County, Va., and that clergyman was able to tell police details only the sniper would know.

Boy this should fill the good people of Maryland and Virginia with a sense of peace and trust in their police force.

Muhammed: “Hey! It’s me! I’m the sniper! Listen to me, will ya! I. AM. THE. SNIPER!”

Police: “Right. Like we’re gonna check out a lead like that. Buzz off!”

Remember: these guys are first line of defense against domestic terrorism in the capital of the most powerful nation in the free world.
