The happy thing is: a *ton* of extremely solid catechetical, evangelistic and apologetic material has been produced in the past 15 years of so. Memo to Catholic Educators: By all means, respect your students, but don’t you *dare* withhold from them the actual teaching of the Church in order to affirm them in their okayness. That’s just another word for lying. They have a right to the truth.
