USS Clueless struggles to figure out how to account for morality in an atheistic worldview

As usual, the atheist fails, having to a) declare that Just War theory is outmoded (I would agree that it needs updating, but not scrapping) and b) smuggle in stuff that makes no sense apart from a universe presided over by a God who is righteous. A nice illustration of eupocrisy, but not of the atheist’s hopes for constructing a morality based on a universe consisting of the mindless clash of Powers.

At the end of the day, den Beste is faced with the same problem Hitchen’s faces: in an atheistic universe nobody is wrong, they’re just outnumbered, or not. So it all comes down to who’s strongest, not who’s right.
