Becoming what you despise

Bill Cork is right. One of the odd dangers of the sin of reactionary dissent is that, over time, you can become the sacrament despiser that you set out to oppose. Most Lidless Eye types fall into Reactionary Dissent because they are angry about the way liberal dissenters have trashed the liturgy and the sacraments. Yet now we’ve got the people at Diocese Report (Motto: “Bitching 24/7/365 To Serve Angry Catholic Needs For a Constant Stream of Material to Gripe About!”) sneering at a perfectly valid sacrament of the Catholic Church. What, exactly, is the difference between that and the nasty mockery of the Eucharist, marriage, or ordination on some liberal dissent or anti-Catholic sites?
