whine about their sufferings during the holidays. This is why the number of atheists to the population is never more than a small percentage. Most people are not this dramatically self-involved and bitter over the happiness of others. There’s a ruthless, sleepless, unsmiling concentration on self in evangelical atheism that shouts “personality disorder”, not “cool dedication to reason”. A shrink, not the hothouse of other evangelical atheists, is what these folks need.
