Lily Cantu was a 20-year-old young woman from Texas who was volunteering with a Catholic missionary group in Peru. She was working at a rehab center for children with facial deformities. Last week, she slipped on a staircase outside of a hostel, fell 3 stories, and died. Please ask your readers to pray for Lily as well as her family and friends during this tragic time in their lives.
May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Mother Mary, pray for her!

I was informed today that my contract position of seven years is being sent off shore. I am supporting two households, and the timing is very bad. I’m also trying to prepare for my daughter’s fast-approaching foray into higher education, and I myself am trying to finish a graduate degree in theology (which is looking less likely). Prayers would be greatly appreciated.
Father, help this man find work quickly, so that he may supply his family’s needs. Help him, as well, with their school needs! We ask this through Christ our Lord. Mother Mary and St. Joseph, pray for him and his family.
Finally, please continue to pray for Lorna, that she will make a full recovery from her injuries. Please pray in particular for her neurological healing and for her to walk again.
