Ha! This brings back my days at Presbyterian college, minoring in theology and working as a student aid in the chaplain’s office. I do still have a weakness for Bonhoeffer, too!
There’s some ecumenical stuff in there. 0:18 ruined many a social life at Franciscan…and I refuse to admit guilt in the matter of 1:53.
I was hoping the guys at Mundeleine who brought us the Formationator would have handled this by now:

I’m totally guilty of “well actually, if you look at the Greek…” My friends at Iowa State would attest to this…

I watched it three times. It is so spot on!
I attended a PCUSA church for several years while I was away from the Church, and that was hilarious. That guy will be a Catholic in 10 years.
Woot woot! Ecumenical humor rocks.
Long time, Mark! And yes, this is so spot on it’s scary. What’s even scarier is that I could transpose this back 25 years ago, and it would be absolutely no different from when I was a PCUSA seminary student. And we think YOU’RE the ones with a magisterium!
Is it possible to repost the video or a new url? It appears to have been lost somehow?
