Nice piece…

…on how Barry Lynn’s (“American United for Separation of Church and State) views on conscience have “evolved” in order to accomodate his lefty ideology and punish those (especially Catholics) whose conscience does not bow to his ideology.

Go here, Flip to page 30.

It’s really quite repellent.

I might be completely dense but I don’t think page 30 is the one you were looking for. For the dense (if that is the case) could you be more specific with what piece or connection we (I?) was supposed to make? Or perhaps it’s the wrong edition/link (and I’m not as dense as I fear (not intended as a jolly joke. ;) ))?

    • Dan F.

ugh, “the one for which you were looking.”

    • Ted Seeber

Me too. What does this have to do with Giant Pandas or Margarita Cruises on the Potomac (though I really have to wonder about Georgetown now, as I would think getting donors drunk in an overpriced cruise is not exactly a Catholic method of fundraising).

  • Ellen

    I don’t see it either.

  • Sal

Can’t even access page 30. Could you please summarize?

  • ds

I can’t find it either, but I am thinking of going on the Margarita Cruise.

  • Will

Me either. Page 30 is a weekend events list.

  • Will

Anyway, I don’t see how “evolved” comes into it. The organization’s target has always been the same, ever since the days BEFORE they realized that calling themselves ‘PROTESTANTS and Other Americans United” gave their real agenda away.

  • Ellen

Please give me the right link, I really want to read this.

That’s not new. Lynn has been pushing that approach for some years now.

  • Will

What I said. “Americans United” always targeted Catholics, using Newspeak labels like “parochiaid”.
