    I’m surprised we haven’t seen that quote about marriage taken entirely out of context by the Gay Agenda yet. Guess it wouldn’t fit too well with their concept that all Catholics Are Bigots.

    The link to the First Things article quotes Pius XII saying, “No human law can take from man the natural and primitive right to marriage.” How does this square with recent assertions by some opponents of gay “marriage” that not everyone has a natural right even to traditional heterosexual marriage? Although I’m far from being a professional ethician, may I suggest that the paradox here is resolved by considering that while everyone POSSESSES a natural right to marriage, not everyone is in a position to EXERCISE that right?
