Because we don’t live in a police state or anything

“Currently,” said McCaul, “there are about 200 active Certificates of Authorization issued by the Federal Aviation Administration to over 100 different entities, such as law enforcement departments and academic institutions, to fly drones domestically.”

Our Ruling Class: they hate us for our freedom.

They should have named the War on Terror “Operation Enduring Slavery”.

I work at such an academic institution. We send our drone (with students and professors) to the sites of wildfires to identify hotspots without risking the lives of firefighters. Sadly, we have no Hellfire missiles.

I agree with your overall point, just pointing out that drones do have non-assassination applications.

If the terrorists hate us for our freedoms, then we should be safer because we’re giving them so much less to hate!

Well, since all that we have we owe to the government, and the government is only trying to help us- because we are nothing and can do nothing without their benevolent leadership-we should be happy that they are going to such great lengths all for our own good. If you are doing nothing wrong then you have nothing to worry about. They are only looking out for peace and security…if you believe otherwise you are obviously an enemy.
We are no longer a a country of the people we are no longer a nation of citizens…we are taxpayers of the government.
