We don’t get, like, real vacations (the two week kind) here at Chez Shea (the last one was, I think six years ago and there was one before that about a decade ago). This is due to constant deadlines and having to work six 12-16 hour days a week as a general rule to keep bread on the table. So we carve out little mini-vacations and working vacations as we can. Till Thursday, we are on one of these out in Eastern Washington hanging with friends. As is my custom, I will be writing and trying to get a project done due on Thursday, so it’s really only vacationey rather than a real vacation. But at any rate, I won’t be interacting with the blog much. I’ve loaded a few things in the hopper to launch over the next few days, but beyond that, things will be a bit slow.
Also, by the way, if you live in the Chicago area and would like me to come and speak for you on either September 10 or 11, please let me know.
