Off to Chicago!

This Saturday this beautiful couple…

get joined in the holy bonds of Matrimony to the great joy of both their families. So we are hitting the road for Chicago today for the nuptials on Saturday. Then everybody heads home to Seattle except for me, who will stay on at Marytown in Libertyville and give a talk on Private Revelation called “There’s a Weirdness in God Mercy” on September 12. If you are in the area of the Windy City by all means come!

I’ll be back on the blog on Monday.

God bless you and your family as you celebrate this joyous occasion. You’ll be in my prayers especially at this time.

God bless them in their new lives together. They look so happy.

  • Mary Alice

May God richly bless their lives together forever! Isn’t it wonderful, Mark, when you see that your children have chosen someone so right for them?

How are you going to get the Space Needle and the Columbia Tower to Chicago?

Oh, you meant the *other* beautiful couple in the picture! Yeah, much easier to transport. ;-)

    Still… a bride wearing Galaxy Gold… I’m gettin’ all teary-eyed!

    Seriously: Prayers and congratulations!

  • Nancy

Imagine my surprise to see a wonderful young woman whom I’ve known since she was in grade school pictured with your son. Word was that he came from a solid Catholic family and the extended family was mightily impressed with him. Chez Shea is mightily fortunate to have her in their family, and like everyone else, I wish them a lifetime of blessings!

  • beccolina

That is such a cool picture. Congrats to them and you. I could almost wish I was in Chicago to see your talk. Cheyenne is much windier, come talk here!

  • Alias Clio

Mark, are you perfectly certain those are sons and not clones? They are of course younger, but they all look so much like you that one can’t help but suspect scientific intervention. After all, you are a Dark Lord – who knows what powers you have?… Many congratulations to your son and his bride.

  • Cathy K

Will be in Chicago on the 12th, but unfortunately won’t be able to get to where you’re speaking. Next time! And congrats to the lovely couple!

Congratulations and best wishes to the happy couple!
