…sends along this link to a quirky tumblr blog that one of his fellow students (getting her Ph.D in liturgy) is running: Mary is My Homegirl.
Getting ready for day’s activities – realized I was laughing so much and so hard, it was necessary to sign off after a few minutes, lest tummy would be too roiled to handle today’s breakfast . . .
This young woman is hilarious!
My 8:00 students thank you- I watched this and forgot to collect their assignments – all I could see was the power of grading (the course is on Assessment). They thank you and upon reflection so do I – no papers this weekend to grade.
Isn’t that cut from the Simpsons what e-book readers are for?
Anyone who uses Jack Black to demonstrate asceticism is A-OK in my book.
(I love her blog title too! My baptist sister came to visit me in Atlanta once, and we passed an urban youth (one I know well) on a street corner near Our Lady of Lourdes throwing “gang signs”. We stopped at the light, and I threw up an L and an M in return.
My sister starts panicking, “You’re gonna get us shot!”
“Nah, we’re in the same gang. Legion of Mary, Yo! Mother of the Word Incarnate!”)
Awesome! It’s like WSWCGS for theology! http://whatshouldwecallgradschool.tumblr.com/
