The Invaluable Marc Barnes…

on Catholics for a Free Choice and their dumb attempts to do with Catholic Faith what Dr. Leo Spaceman does with science:

News flash: The Catholic Faith is not whatever we want it to be. It is itself and those like Catholics for Free Choice who attempt to pervert it will one day either repent or discover the truth of Scripture:

Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the scriptures: ‘The very stone which the builders rejected has become the head of the corner; this was the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes? Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a nation producing the fruits of it. And he who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; but when it falls on any one, it will crush him.” (Matthew 21:42-44)

"Truly brilliant clip."

A number of months, I heard Mr. O’Brien on a local radio station and he charged that the old men in the Vatican are solely focused on “pelvic issues.”

Hmmm…isn’t his organizations reason for existence due to the pelvic region?

  • I just had this talk with my oldest because she was told by a friend that girls can marry each other. We talked about about how words have definitions which morphed into a conversation of how you can call yourself anything you like, but you are either being honest or not. You can call yourself Catholic, but unles you’re willing to be obedient to the doctrine (or die trying), you aren’t really catholic.

This article is a classic example of how sin dims the vision. O’Brien sounds unhinged, desperate, flailing, frenzied. A tad nutty.

Fisking this article to show its insanity is too easy. Sadly easy, really. Makes a guy wonder if he believes what he’s writing.

What a train wreck this organization is.
