Perspective

Whatever happens on Tuesday, God remains God and that too is part of his plan. Relax. Be grateful. Go to Mass. If Jesus could give thanks on the night he knew he would be betrayed by a friend, denied by the rest, subjecte

d to a kangaroo court, a horsewhipping, crucifixion, spittle, mockery, and abandonment by God and man, we should retain a bit of perspective if things don’t go our way at the polls. They certainly won’t go my way since I don’t vote for either candidate. But God remains God, life is still good, we still have much to be grateful for, and I still have a pulse. So glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and every shall be, in saecula saeculorum. Amen!
