  • This has been a great year and we walk into 2013 in Faith called by Pope Benedict XVI. I find this to be divine providence since 2012 brought a lot of misfortunes for us Catholics but like Christ always said, “Peace be with you” and “Do not fear” So for this year us Catholics need to remember that we have the King of Peace who is the Way the Truth and the Light. We do not need to fear no matter who is in office or what people can do. God bless everyone and happy new year

  • Mark, just FYI, here’s another version of “Auld Lang Syne,” by the Scottish folk group The Tannahill Weavers that I like much better than the schmaltzy Guy Lombardo version. I think this is the melody that Robert Burns wanted when he wrote the song but his editor picked another one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7RjzQTP7eFU

All the best in 2013. God Bless!
