Groove for Thought

…is a fantastic vocal jazz septet that includes a friend of Luke the Nordic Giant and his bride, the Tash. Her name is Stephanie Collins and I heard her sing years ago when they were all in Soundsations (the Edmonds Community College jazz group). Anyway, they are playing Jazz Alley here in Seattle last night and tonight (which is a big deal since it’s a bit like Seattle’s Birdland).

Luke and the Tasha went to hear them last night and the verdict is “face-meltingly good”. Here’s a little taste of their final rehearsal yesterday.

I’m perplexed that I can’t buy Groove For Thought music on conventional CDs.

I loved this sample, but I am also concerned about the availability of CDs…

Maybe I have not been paying enough attention, but I could not find prices for the CDs on the Web site…

  • Stephanie Collins

Hey guys! Sorry for the confusion; yes, CDs are available on our site, and you’re right, prices aren’t listed. Amazon and iTunes actually set their own prices for music, and they’re often not the same. Clicking on one of the purchasing options will show you the price.

    Hopefully that helps explain it!
