I attended Mass in the chapel at the Lloyd Center Mall a few times last week, and I can attest to its wondrousness! Given the context of a horrible mall shooting in this region just before Christmas, it is a powerful witness to have such an outpouring of grace available “in the marketplace.”

God bless Fr. Antoninus and the parishioners of Holy Rosary Parish for making such an opportunity available!

I remember that several years ago, there was a permanent chapel in one of the shopping malls in Quebec City, with daily mass. I don’t know if it is still there, but a relative of mine who was a nun used to go there often, that’s how I found out.

Hmmm….. the vincent de paul thrift store near me is run by the four parishes of my area, what if mulitple parishes teamed up to do the same thing in a mall? What if four or five or six churches closes to an area mall took turns caring for a mall church? They may not actually sell things like thrift stores do, but still…. if my church was doing a program like that, id be glad to assist.
