    On the matter of casual anti-Catholicism, it would have been helpful if your reader had included some specific examples. I think I know what he is talking about, but he may have something else entirely in mind. I’ve encountered relatively little personally in the line of insensitive remarks, mostly I guess because the vast majority of my acquaintances are Catholic or else favorable to the Church or at least polite enough to avoid offending me.
