    Our local media types discussed the Pope’s announcement in context of the political divide, and stated the pope appealed mainly to older conservative Catholics not to younger ones who differ with Church teachings on women’s ordination, contraception, etc.

    Then the first critic they cite in the article is a 62 year-old who is angry with the pope for not allowing women to become priest.

    The old motto is “question authority” and that rings true with anything put forth by the media.
