Prayer Request

A reader writes:

My friend who had the lung operation is not doing well.  More things are going wrong.  The doctors will have a meeting tomorrow and will probably start taking him off the machines that are keeping him alive.  Prayers for the repose of his soul, and for the comfort of his family would be greatly appreciated.

Father, hear our prayer that you would either heal this person or grant them the grace of a happy death through our Lord Jesus Christ.  Mother Mary, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen!
