Tin Cup Rattle, Day 5

The work plow continues to forge its way through mounds of work and quadrillions of electrons in the struggle to keep our kids in sneakers and sandwiches. We deeply appreciate the generosity of all you guys, not only to us, but to the various readers who write in with all sorts of different needs. To you I impart my solemn apostolic BOOYAH! and my profound gratitude.

I will be continuing to soldier on (today’s agenda items: write a foreword for a book, get going on thousand words for Christian Democracy, start editing book 5, think about how to finish one ghosted book and start going on another). Saturday, I finally take a break and hike out to Monte Cristo with the Brohirrim, just to get some exercise. Then, Sunday, blessed rest! Nose back to grindstone early Monday.

All of which is to say, we still can use your help if you value what you get here. I won’t belabor the point since I hate NPR pledge drives. But whatever you can do to help: thanks.

And if you want more bang for your buck, buy my stuff here and hire me to come speak here.

Hello Marky: I hope your tin cup rattling is very productive. I’m mostly just writing today so that I can sign my name in my regular way. One day I signed on your blog as “ginger Luke” (ginger’s a nickname and Luke is my maiden name). Now gmail fills in that name for anyone using gmail or google calendar. I’m hoping this will fix it. See you around at Blessed Sacrament.
