    But will she fall on her sword? That’s the funny thing about all these Congressional hearings, inquests, investigations, commissions, etc., that have taken place on a host of incidents and issues over the years — no one ever loses his job. The occasional lackey might resign under pressure, only to be replaced by someone else who will continue doing terrible things. The sad reality is that the permanent federal bureaucracy is more powerful than the elected people who “oversee” it.
