The Imaginative Conservative on Tintin

I like the Imaginative Conservative. Unlike the Thing that Used to be Conservatism, it is not only imaginative, it actually conserves something. Here it is, on Tintin as the True European.

Thanks for flagging. I will check them out. At first look it is nice to see a conservative site with a quote from Russell Kirk in the side banner instead of a push poll asking if we should bomb Iran or if Obama is from Kenya.

    Fascinating and wonderful piece.

I love Tintin, but article this skims a little lightly over both Herge’s collaboration and the antisemitic touches in more than one of the stories.

What touches are you thinking of? Do they go beyond “depicting society in the 30′s?
