It is possible to be joyful even in the event of more burdens and upheaval. I hope more people see and understand this.

Isn’t it odd how some commercials have more emotional heft than many of the movies out there today?

We need more ads like this one. Maybe someone could found a Christian ad agency? It might work if it’s staff is also talented enough to compete.

I’m a former teacher – I resigned to look after The Little One. I never forget the day that the teacher in charge of citizenship showed an advert to a room of year 10s with the punch line that, following his toddler’s tantrum, the man wished he’d used a condom. I thought “That right there is Catholic teaching on contraception.” Love the fact that this is the opposite. Awesome.

that settles it for me, i’m drinking coke instead of water from now on, diabetes or not.

I didn’t think this Spanish Coca-Cola commercial from several years ago could be topped:

It features the oldest man in Spain (at the time) being introduced to a new mother and her baby. I think I read elsewhere that the new commercial was made in Argentina. Either way, kudos to the people in charge of marketing Coca-Cola in Spanish-speaking countries….

I recall Coke was actually having some problems earlier this year in Spanish speaking countries b/c of an indecent show it was sponsoring. An executive officer in Spain compounded it with some stupid statements.

Good on them. I am a Coke person.
